I am Rebecca Robinson, I received my PhD (2017) from the Department of History and Classical Studies at McGill University. I work in the field of Global Antiquities.
My dissertation, Cult and Calendars in the Ancient Empires of Qin, Han, and Rome, examines how reforms made to imperial cult enacted important ideological transformations in the nascent days of empire.
I teach at McGill University, and lead reading groups on critical theory and interdisciplinary topics within the humanities. More info is available here.
